About

My name is Pastor Dillon, and I’m glad you’re here! My wife and I have spent our entire adult lives (and even some years before that) preparing for and serving in ministry. We love to serve and want to live our lives for something (and someone) bigger than ourselves.

My wife Amber is an avid crafter who loves to crochet, knit, embroider, and sew. She is a gifted teacher who plans to contribute from time to time. I (Dillon) love to cook and can often be found outside smoking pork or chicken. You’re likely to find us both on the hiking trails or enjoying authentic and interesting foods from the far-flung corners of the world.

We’ve been together for a decade now, and we’re blessed to have two beautiful daughters who keep our lives very exciting!

We serve together in beautiful northwest Michigan where I’m the lead pastor of Elk Rapids Bible Church.

This blog exists to share and catalog our weekly devotionals for our local church family as well as other resources for the Christian life. My hope is that I can help you set your eyes on God! Subscribe for regular updates and share with others when you’re encouraged or challenged.
